The island consists of 45 rooms surrounded by trees and shrubbery situated along the perimeter of the island, all facing the beach and just a few metres from the sea, and 17 overwater bungalows with private steps into the water from the veranda, connected to the island by a wooden walkway. Moofushi's quite large blue lagoon surrounds the whole island and varies in distance from the island and the depth of the water.
All the rooms are air conditioned, and have ceiling fans, minibars, desalinated hot and cold water, beach towels and telephones.
The superior rooms – such as bungalow 45 and overwater 61- and the deluxe type – bungalow 05 and overwater 62 – offer furtherly: a better position, double panoramic view window, sun areas, hi-fi with minidisc, video player and screen for watching films, and kettle for tea and coffee.
